Peter Falk (16 september 1927 - 23 june 2011) was an American actor, famous for his role of Lieutenant Columbo on TV.

In 1976, he played Sam Diamond in the movie Murder by Death where Sherlock Holmes (Keith McConnell) and Watson (Richard Peel) make a brief appearance in the tag scene.

In 2001, He played Reverend Theo Kerr in the TV adaptation of Conan Doyle's novel: The Lost World with Bob Hoskins as professor Challenger.
