Mathews, first performed at the Smith's Palace of Varieties (Birmingham, UK) on 25 december 1911 (and 2ore times in 1912 and 1914, see performances), starring Wilfrid C. Mathews as Sherlock Holmes and Hugh S. Mathews as Dr. Watson.
