Arthur Conan Doyle Letter

Grand Hotel, W.C.
May 26, 1903

Dear Sir

I shall be here all the week, in case anything is wanted.

I observed a suggestion in a paper the other day that some Motor Cycle firm should prepare a machine & trailer expressly for Commercial Travellers. I think that a very good idea. Don't you think that something of the sort, well done, and shown in some exhibition would do us good — The C.T. Motor Cycle.

I had wished to put Mr. Stewart Leckie on the board, but I don't want to overman it, and as the other was actually asked that seemed to end the matter. But it is understood, is it not, that I have the power of adding Mr. Leckie to it at any time.

Yours faithfully
A. Conan Doyle
