Louis Hector as Sherlock Holmes for the radio show The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (10 november 1934)

Louis Hector was an American actor who played Sherlock Holmes for the first time on TV in 1937.

On radio, he played Sherlock Holmes in 1934-1935 in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes with Leigh Lovell as Dr. Watson, and also in 1936 in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes with Harry West as Dr. Watson. And he played Professor Moriarty between 1939 and 1946 in the radio series The (New) Adventures of Sherlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes.
