John Neville (translated by the voice-over) : J'ai tournée l'été dernier la dernière aventure de Sherlock Holmes.

Transcript (translation)

Irene Allier : It is in a mysterious atmosphere of shadows and terrifying objects that the memory of Sherlock Holmes will be perpetuated. Indeed, the son of the famous writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, has just opened, at the castle of Lucens, in Switzerland, the foundation which bears the name of the author of so many fantastic novels.

Adrian Conan Doyle : I always had the idea, excuse my bad French, to create for my father's memory an international foundation. My father was an internationalist not a nationalist. For this reason, I created the Conan Doyle Foundation in Switzerland. With all the historical relics of him and of the family and also of those of Mr. Sherlock Holmes, exactly reconstructed as in the tales of my father, and many other things. My father is dead but his creation always works. Mr. Sherlock Holmes he's still with us, isn't he?

Irene Allier : In the entirely reconstructed sitting-room that the famous detective occupied with his faithful friend Dr. Watson, one finds familiar objects: his chemistry laboratory, his violin... Host of a day, the English actor John Neville, perfect look-alike and interpreter on the screen of Sherlock Holmes:

John Neville : Last summer I shot the last adventure of Sherlock Holmes. It's a role that I liked a lot because I read all the detective adventures when I was a child. And the character has always fascinated me.
