  • Inspector Barton had charge of the Saint-Clair case. He visited the room where Neville Saint-Clair is supposed to have disappeared. He made a very careful examination of the premises, but without finding anything which threw any light upon the matter. He arrested Hugh Boone. (TWIS, 220)
