Dennis Hoey

Dennis Hoey (30 march 1893 - 25 july 1960) is a British actor who played Inspector Lestrade between 1942-1946 in 6 sherlockian movies with Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes.
In 1956, he also played Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in episode The Fine Art of Murder of the TV series Omnibus.
