George Bell & Sons

George Bell & Sons was a British publishing company based in London (UK) from 1839 to 1986. It was founded by George Bell (1814-1890) as an educational bookseller, with the intention of selling the output of London university presses; but became best known as an independent publisher of classics and children's books.
Between 1892 and 1917, the company published 6 novels, 3 essays and 58 short stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle.
