Ian Richardson

Ian Richardson (7 april 1934 - 9 february 2007) was a British actor who played Sherlock Holmes in 2 TV movies The Sign of Four and The Hound of the Baskervilles.
He was also Dr. Joseph Bell in the Murder Rooms: Mysteries of the Real Sherlock Holmes series in 2000-2001 with Robin Laing and Charles Edwards as Arthur Conan Doyle.
In 1996, he was the voice of Arthur Conan Doyle in the documentary The Great War and the Shaping of the 20th Century.
