Dr. Conan Doyle said that it appeared to him to be as illogical for a reverend gentleman to lay down the law of medicine as it would be for any of the medical profession to get upon the platform and talk theology, and he protested against Mr. Chudleigh's conclusions, every one of them being open to criticism.
