La Cycliste solitaire (1989)

La Cycliste solitaire (The Solitary Cyclist) is a French educational movie of the series Le Chemin des écoliers (The Schoolchildren's Path) produced by the Centre National de Documentation Pédagogique (CNDP) of the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale, adapted by Claudine Cerf and directed by Jacqueline Margueritte, released in 1989, starring Jean Clément as Sherlock Holmes and Philippe Nahon as Dr. Watson. 16 minutes.

The movie doesn't show the entire story, it ends when Violet Smith is kidnapped. And the movie is followed by a 3-minute biography of Arthur Conan Doyle told by Watson.

This is an adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's short story : The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist (1891).
