Lady Doyle, widow of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of "Sherlock Holmes," and well known as a spiritualist, died in London yesterday.
She was Jean, daughter of the late Mr. J. B. Leckie, of Monkstown, Crowborough, Sussex, and married Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 1907 as his second wife, and was left a widow in 1930. She had the Order of Chefkat. When her husband and she were entertained in London in 1920 by the spiritualists of the United Kingdom, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle said that Lady Doyle was in perfect sympathy with him and had shared all his experiences.
