Dear Kingsley,
It is very kind of you to take trouble over our Sculpture affairs. If by any chance any order should come of it you must certainly accept Commission upon it. 5% is what Parker gets — he is our representative but not an efficient one, I fear.
I don't suppose any of these architects have really had our merits brought to their notice. Anyhow we may go on that supposition. If you can get in touch with any of them, have a go!
The Address of the works is 62 Summer Street, Southwark. First turn to the right over Southwark Bridge. Telephone number 12485 Central.
Enclosed card passes you or anyone else anywhere. Mr Ryland the manager, a rough diamond. Would show anyone the works at any hour.
Yes, we would do a model if there were a fair chance of getting business. You can rely upon our work being very good.
We make a specialty now of small busts done from photos and perhaps a single sitting. We do them in best marble at 15 guineas, and all future reproductions much cheaper, until they only come to £7. We think that MPs and others who would like to give away Souvenirs might find this very useful. Want to get orders from City Dignitaires, Masonic Lodges of their masters & so on.
We are really doing pretty well now. If we are not actually paying Xs we must be very near it.
- All thanks for your interest
- Yours
