Letter to Bram Stoker (20 june 1898)

From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia

This letter was written by Arthur Conan Doyle on 20 june 1898 from Undershaw, Hindhead, Haslemere (postmark of Shottermill, a village of Haslemere) to Bram Stoker at The Lyceum Theatre.

He wrote him about a play "Brother Robert".

My dear Bram Stoker

The day upon which I wrote last I had a request from a manager who wanted a play at once to look at "Brother Robert". As I had not heard from Sir Henry and as I was keen on having it done soon, I submitted it to this manager. If it should come back I will forward it to you. I am very sorry that you could have not seen it first.

With all kind regards
Yours very truly
A Conan Doyle.
