This letter was written by Arthur Conan Doyle on 20 june 1898 from Undershaw, Hindhead, Haslemere (postmark of Shottermill, a village of Haslemere) to Bram Stoker at The Lyceum Theatre.

He wrote him about a play "Brother Robert".


Letter

My dear Bram Stoker

The day upon which I wrote last I had a request from a manager who wanted a play at once to look at "Brother Robert". As I had not heard from Sir Henry and as I was keen on having it done soon, I submitted it to this manager. If it should come back I will forward it to you. I am very sorry that you could have not seen it first.
