Letter to Mrs Charrington

From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia

This undated letter was written by Arthur Conan Doyle, from 12 Tennison Road, South Norwood, to Mrs. Charrington declaring that he would like to "save the situation" but is "well convinced after much thought that Holmes is not fitted for dramatic representation," however he is ready to come in and meet her.

Letter (extract)
