M.C.C. v. London Playing Fields

The Sportsman (22 august 1907, p. 3)

The Marylebone Club put on a good side in the field at Lord's yesterday in this annual match, and Hubble played a capital innings of eighty-three, hitting a 6 and eight 4's. Relf also played well for seventy-two, and hit seven 4's and six 3's. Against the bowling of Relf and Cox the visitors made a poor stand, and were all out for 80. E. M. Holland was chief scorer, going in first and carrying out his bat for forty-two. With fifty minutes to go, the Playing Fields went in again, and showed to more advantage. Score:
