M.C.C. v. Royal Navy is a cricket result published in The Sporting Life on 31 july 1907.
Result was a draw.
Stoppages through rain prevented the match at Lord's being brought to a definite conclusion yester-day, and in the end the Navy had slightly the better of the argument. In the second innings of the premier club L. P. Collins again played in bright style. and made seven 4's and two 3's. while Sir A. Conan Doyle, by sound batting, contributed 43. With the score at 182 for nine wickets the home side declared, leaving their opponents with this number to obtain in the course of an hour and thirty-five minutes. From the outset of the Navy's second venture a draw was inevitable. Lieut Harrison and Lieut Wil-son had a useful partnership, in less than fifty minutes adding 53 runs. Capt.
