Martin LaPlatney (born 12 september 1950) is an American actor who played Policeman Hopkins in 1978-1979 in the play The Crucifer of Blood with Paxton Whitehead as Sherlock Holmes. He also played Sherlock Holmes in 1987 in the play The Crucifer of Blood with Gavin Troster as Dr. Watson, and in 1990 in The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes with Jonathan Bustle as Dr. Watson.

In 2015, he played Darryl Jarvis in episode S03E23 Absconded of the TV series Elementary with Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes.
