Nigel Stock

Nigel Stock (21 september 1919 - 23 june 1986) was a British actor who played Dr. Watson on TV between 1964 and 1968 in Sherlock Holmes, first with Douglas Wilmer then with Peter Cushing as Sherlock Holmes.
He was Watson again in 34 radio episodes adapted by Mollie Hardwick, with Robert Hardy as Sherlock Holmes.
In 1982-1983, Nigel Stock was again Watson on stage in the play 221B.
In 1985, he played the eccentric inventor Rupert T. Waxflatter in the movie Young Sherlock Holmes with Nicholas Rowe as Sherlock Holmes.
