Norman Bird

Norman Bird (30 october 1924 - 22 april 2005) was a British actor who played Inspector Street in 1973 in the episode Elementary My Dear Watson of the TV series Comedy Playhouse with John Cleese as Sherlock Holmes. The same year, he played Inspector Trent in episode The Looting of the Specie Room of the TV series The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes.
In 1979, he played Anthony Denham in episode A Motive for Murder of the TV series Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson with Geoffrey Whitehead as Sherlock Holmes.
