Patrick Macnee

Patrick Macnee (6 february 1922 - 23 june 2015) was a British actor who played Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson between 1976 and 1993.
He also played John Steed in 1969 alongside Sir Arthur Doyle (Peter Jones) in episode The Curious Case of the Countless Clues (S06E19) of The Avengers TV series.
