To the Editor of the "Daily Express."

Sir, — Every experienced spiritualist agrees with Colonel Peacocke in what he writes on this subject. No message should be accepted unless it satisfies the judgment and reason of the recipient. This is what St. Paul meant when he said that the spiritual gifts of the prophets should be subject to the prophets.

As death causes no change in the individual, it stands to reason that the average spirit is very little more lofty than the average human. It is only when we are privileged to get in contact with those who are the older souls that we get high teaching and inspiration.
