The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is an American radio series broadcasted on NBC network from 2 october 1939 to 27 may 1946, starring Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes, Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson (replaced by Eric Snowden and Joseph Kearns) and Louis Hector as Professor Moriarty.

From october 1943, the show has been renamed : The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
