Plot summary
Harvey Winthrop asks Holmes to help him prevent his brother's potential death because of the terrible Winthrop legend... which tells that any Winthrop possessing a silver coin will die. Holmes travels to the Winthrop manor but is unsuccessful to prevent the death of John Winthrop. He suspects Peg, Harvey's fiancée, to be the murderer but can't prove it. Soon after, she falls in the stairs and die too. She had a silver coin in her pocket...
