The Speckled Band was the first of a series of 8 movies. 2 reels. The movie was produced under the personal supervision of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
In France the movie was released by the Société Française des Films Éclair, in UK by Eclair British and in USA by Union Features.
All actors were British, except Georges Tréville which was French. Dr. Watson doesn't appear in this movie.
The movie is an adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle's short story The Adventure of the Speckled Band (1892).
