  • Wiggins was a young boy and the spokesman of the street Arabs (1411) named by Sherlock Holmes the "Baker Street division of the detective police force" (1045).

The Sign of Four (1888)

  • Sherlock Holmes mentioned Wiggins as his "dirty little lieutenant" and the leader of his gang (1450).
