''Holmes & Watson, by Royal Appointment: A Case of Comic Capers'' is a British play directed by Tom Sampson, performed by ''[http://adhoctheatre.co.uk The Ad Hoc Theatre Group]'' at ''The Old Courthouse Theatre'' (Antrim, North Ireland, UK) on 25 and 26 may 2017, starring [[Glenn McGivern]] as [[Sherlock Holmes]].

The play features Sherlock Holmes and Watson battling to ensure that Queen Victoria's visit to The Music Hall is an uninterrupted success – if only! The Royal Command performance, featuring saucy songstress Marie Lloyd, tests the ingenuity and mettle of Holmes as sabotage rears its ugly head in the form of 'The Anti-Filth League'.
