Dear Mr. Stone,

Many thanks for invitation to your Annual Dinner. I regret however that I am unable to accept for [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle|myself]] & [[Jean Elizabeth Leckie|Lady Doyle]], as my time is just now so fully occupied with psychical lectures & correspondence.
