A most interesting collection of pictures will be on view at the Brook Street Art Gallery, 14, Brook Street, W., from tomorrow (January 31), where [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]] is having an exhibition of his father's paintings. The late Mr. [[Charles Altamont Doyle|Charles Doyle]]'s life was spent in a Government office in Edinburgh, and his remarkable and original genius never had a chance of challenging the verdict of London. [[Charles Altamont Doyle|Mr. Doyle]]'s characteristic was the variety and originality of his imagination.
