''The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes'' is an American play, written by [[John Nassivera]] and directed by [[Charlie Hensley]], performed by the ''Pennsylvania Stage Company'' (Allentown, USA) from 10 october to 4 november 1990, starring [[Martin LaPlatney]] as [[Sherlock Holmes]], [[Jonathan Bustle]] as [[Dr. Watson]].

The great detective is plunged into the realms of the supernatural and meets his creator through the good offices of a Spiritualist Medium.
