Interesting, that the screenwriter is [[Vladimir Valutsky]] (Владимир Валуцкий), who was author of scenario of 3 parts of the TV serial [[Vasily_Livanov#TV|Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson]]. And [[Nikolay Karachentsov]] (Николай Караченцов) played [[Jefferson Hope]] in Russian TV episode [[Кровавая Надпись|Bloody Inscription]] (1980).

"The powers that be" in this animated film are people, and their servants are animals (dogs, cats and bats). D'Artagnan – just Dog (Nikolay Karachentsov / Николай Караченцов), Athos – Noble (Valentin Gaft / Валентин Гафт), Porthos – Fatman (Yuri Volyntsev / Юрий Волынцев), Aramis – Handsome (Alexander Shirvindt / Александр Ширвиндт).

When the Dog gets to England he meets a Fishing dog (Lev Durov / Лев Дуров). The Dog showed to him Buckingham's glove, and Fishing dog recommended to him to find in City, as he explains that no one smells that good at the docks. Then Dog meets Doberman in checkered vest (harness). This is English detective dog. At first, Detective dog pays no attention to him and goes about his search.

* "Quiet! Just one more minute and I'll find him" — tells English detective dog (Vasily Livanov / Василий Ливанов).
* "Would you like to find the owner of this glove at the same time?" — asks the Dog.
* "My method, sir, allows you to find anyone who has a scent."
* Sniffs: "I swear on roast beef, it's a man."
* "Hm, I know that!"
* "Yes, but you hardly know, sir, that meeting him is dangerous for dogs."
* "Why?"
* "He carries a heavy oak stick. Excuse me, sir, my work does not tolerate witnesses. Not every dog should know my face, sir."
