Major Victor Spencer&#039;s letter in your columns, may I disclaim having ever mentioned Mrs. Spencer&#039;s name at any time in connexion with psychic phenomena. A reference to the original published correspondence will show that it was her own family who mentioned her name, and that it was a close relation who said, &quot;Mrs. Spencer has strong psychic power,&quot; and also asserted of one lecture that it was done upside down. &quot;When she had finished she wondered what on earth she had done.
