Bernard Horsfall (20 november 1930 - 29 january 2013) was a British actor who played [[Sherlock Holmes]] in 1981 in the play [[To Kill a King (play 1981)|To Kill a King]] with [[Peter Harlowe]] as [[Dr. Watson]].<br />

In 1988, he played Frankland in 1988 in the TV movie [[The Hound of the Baskervilles (TV episode 1988)|The Hound of the Baskervilles]] with [[Jeremy Brett]] as [[Sherlock Holmes]] and [[Edward Hardwicke]] as [[Dr. Watson]].<br />

He also played Crawford Sr. in 2000 in the episode [[The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes]] of the TV series [[Murder Rooms: Mysteries of the Real Sherlock Holmes]] with [[Ian Richardson]] as [[Joseph Bell]] and [[Robin Laing]] as [[Arthur Conan Doyle]]. <br />
