''Donohue, Henneberry & Co.'' was an American book publishing company based in Chicago, founded by two bookbinders, Michael A. Donohue (of Cox & Donohue) and William P. Henneberry around 1880. In 1890 the firm launched a series of inexpensive editions of popular novelists, concentrated on libraries (i.e., sets and series).<br />

The ''Chicago Lakeside Directory'' had the following addresses for Donohue, Henneberry & Co. <ref>Thanks to [http://sdrc.lib.uiowa.edu/lucile/publishers/donohenn/DONOHENN.HTM The Lucile Project]</ref> : 1881, 182 Monroe ; 1890-1891, 407-425 Dearborn ; 1892, 415 and 407-425 Dearborn ; 1894, 407-429 Dearborn (3rd floor) ; 1896-1898, 415 Dearborn (3rd floor) ; 1899, 407-429 Dearborn. In 1900, the imprint [[Donohue Brothers]] (407-429 Dearborn) was also used. Perhaps, a short-lived successor to ''Donohue, Henneberry & Co.'' from which ''M. A. Donohue'' emerged. Donohue bought out Henneberry around 1900-1901 and began using [[M. A. Donohue & Co.]] imprint. However, the imprints can't be a datation clue.<br />
