[[Arthur Conan Doyle|Dr. Conan Doyle]], who has done good service for the Norwood Club, played for Eastbourne on Saturday against the South Saxons. On reaching 35 he had the misfortune to be run out. The South Saxons scored 129, of which the Rev. H. C. L. Tindall contributed 30. Eastbourne replied with 203 for 9 wickets.
