Freddie Jones (12 september 1927 - 9 july 2019) was a British actor who played Chester Cragwitch in 1985 in the movie [[Young Sherlock Holmes]] wwith [[Nicholas Rowe]] as [[Sherlock Holmes]].<br />

In 1988, he played Inspector Baynes in [[Wisteria Lodge (TV episode 1988)|Wisteria Lodge]] and in 1993 he played a pedlar in [[The Last Vampyre]], both in the TV series [[Sherlock Holmes (TV series 1984-1994)|Sherlock Holmes]] with [[Jeremy Brett]] a [[Sherlock Holmes]]. <br />
