Though Conan Doyle and Houdini were real friends, the show exaggerates reality and turn the two heroes into crime solving sleuths.<br />

In august 2016, the show was cancelled after its first and only season. The reason was poor ratings (0.4 rating with 1.77 million viewers for the 10th episode).<br />
