John Cleese (born 27 october 1939) is an British actor, writer and producer who played in 2 [[Sherlock Holmes]] TV parodies. In [[Elementary My Dear Watson (TV episode 1973)|Elementary my Dear Watson]], a 30-minute episode in 1973 in the TV show ''Comedy Playhouse'' with [[Willie Rushton]] as [[Dr. Watson]].

And in [[The Strange Case of the End of Civilization as We Know It]] in 1977 as Arthur Sherlock-Holmes, the grand-son of the detective, accompanied by the descendant of [[Dr. Watson]] (played by [[Arthur Lowe]]).
