John Malcolm (26 march 1936 - 14 june 2008) was a Scottish actor who played Inspector Campbell in 1972 in the radio play [[Conan Doyle Investigates (radio 1972)|Conan Doyle Investigates]] with [[Carleton Hobbs]] as [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]]. He was Tangey in 1984 in the TV episode [[The Naval Treaty (TV episode 1984)|The Naval Treaty]] with [[Jeremy Brett]] as [[Sherlock Holmes]]. And he also played a doctor in the street in 2000 in the TV episode [[The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes]] of the TV series [[Murder Rooms: Mysteries of the Real Sherlock Holmes]] with [[Ian Richardson]] as Dr. [[Joseph Bell]] and [[Robin Laing]] as [[Arthur Conan Doyle]].<br />
