John de Lancie (born 20 march 1948) is an American actor best known for his role as "Q" in the Star Trek saga from 1987 to 2001.<br />

In 1998, [[Leonard Nimoy]] and John de Lancie adapted [[The Lost World (play 1998)|The Lost World]] on stage, in which all the characters were played by Star Trek actors. He introduced the play and played Lord John Roxton.<br />
