This letter was written by [[Arthur Conan Doyle]] on 4 july 1925 from 15 Buckingham Palace Mansions (London) to Jessie Drummond about the death of Charlotte Drummond.

== Letter ==

My dear Jessie

She was a beautiful soul, one of the highest that I have met in my earthly pilgrimage, and therefore I cannot pretend to mourn for I know how splendid is her fate and I know also that she is now for nearer to you and to me and to everyone whom she cared for, than she could be when she was imprisoned in the human cage. Tell me, my dear Jessie, if there is ever anything I can do for you. I don't know what your views is towards those psychic subjects to which I devote my life, but I do know that knowledge in that direction brings happiness. You must come down and see me in my shop. Psychic Bookshop, Abbey House, Victoria Street, S.W. I'll be there in the forenoon of Tuesday and Wednesday next if you are that way.

With affectionate remembrance
