[[Arthur Conan Doyle]] referred to two London landmarks, both hotels :
* "Morley's" referred to Morley's Hotel. First opened in 1832, whose façade extended down the eastern side of Trafalgar Square, behind Nelson's Column and the Trafalgar Square Fountain. [[Arthur Conan Doyle]] have stayed at Morley's in 1900, writing parts of "The Hound of the Baskervilles."
* "The Cecil" referred to the Hotel Cecil. The Hotel Cecil was located just a couple of blocks up the Strand facing the Thames Embankment. [[Arthur Conan Doyle|Conan Doyle]] have attended an annual meeting of the Incorporated Society of Authors at the Hotel Cecil in 1904.

I was stupid to leave out the letter. I now enclose it. I shall be so glad to see you both at Morley's on Tuesday. We will go across to the Cecil for lunch.
