Another idea : why not monuments of our popular literary characters? [[J. M. Barrie|Sir James Barrie]] gave Peter Pan to Kensington Gardens; why should not [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]] beautify Baker Street with a statue of [[Sherlock Holmes]], Cutcliffe Hyne could weigh in with a Captain Kettle somewhere — I can&amp;#039;t think where at the moment. Mr. T. J. Bell could easily find a suitable site for a Wee Macgreegor in his native Glasgow.&lt;br /&gt;
