In delightfull weather the Norwood week commenced at the pretty Pavilion Ground yesterday. There was a pretty good attendance, the company including many ladies. The home team batted first, but only made a moderate stand against the bowling of Wheatman and Holt, [[Arthur Conan Doyle|Doyle]] (25) and Ellis (12), who went in first, the only batsmen to get into double figures, and the last wicket fell with only 64 runs on the books. For the Erratics, who won by 96 on the first innings, Wheatley 25, Holt 37, Hill 22, Baxter 18, and Wheatman 22 were the chief scorers, and below will be found the full scores:—<br />
