Peter Falk (16 september 1927 - 23 june 2011) was an American actor, famous for his role of Lieutenant Columbo on TV. <br />

In 1976, he played Sam Diamond in the movie [[Murder by Death]] where Sherlock Holmes ([[Keith McConnell]]) and Watson ([[Richard Peel]]) make a brief appearance in the tag scene.<br />

In 2001, He played Reverend Theo Kerr in the TV adaptation of Conan Doyle's novel: [[The Lost World (TV movie 2001)|The Lost World]] with [[Bob Hoskins]] as professor Challenger.<br />
