Philip Weller (Born 1941 in Portsmouth) is a former Royal Air Force Squadron Leader, with degrees in Mathematics, History, Philosophy and War Studies.<br />
<br />
He is the founder of the international Holmesian society, [[The Franco-Midland Hardware Company (1989-2004)]], and of [[The Arthur Conan Doyle Study Group]]. He is a member of dozens of other international Holmesian and Doylean associations, and he has lectured on these topics all over the world.<br />
<br />
He has organized numerous International Holmesian Conventions, all over Europe and in Russia.<br />
<br />
For more than a decade he has, although living in England, been an extremely active member of "[https://www.unostudioinholmes.org Uno Studio in Holmes]" (USIH), and he has written the Introduction to the Italian edition of "[[The Hound of the Baskervilles]]" ("La maledizione dei Baskerville"), and two specialist Italian monographs on [[Arthur Conan Doyle]].<br />

He, and his wife Jane, are very proud to be Honorary Citizens of Sesto Fiorentino in Tuscany.<br />
