Philip Weller (Born 1941 in Portsmouth) is a former Royal Air Force Squadron Leader, with degrees in Mathematics, History, Philosophy and War Studies.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He is the founder of the international Holmesian society, [[The Franco-Midland Hardware Company (1989-2004)]], and of [[The Arthur Conan Doyle Study Group]]. He is a member of dozens of other international Holmesian and Doylean associations, and he has lectured on these topics all over the world.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He has organized numerous International Holmesian Conventions, all over Europe and in Russia.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For more than a decade he has, although living in England, been an extremely active member of &amp;quot;[https://www.unostudioinholmes.org Uno Studio in Holmes]&amp;quot; (USIH), and he has written the Introduction to the Italian edition of &amp;quot;[[The Hound of the Baskervilles]]&amp;quot; (&amp;quot;La maledizione dei Baskerville&amp;quot;), and two specialist Italian monographs on [[Arthur Conan Doyle]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He, and his wife Jane, are very proud to be Honorary Citizens of Sesto Fiorentino in Tuscany.&lt;br /&gt;
