Mr. T. Reynolds (the Vice-President), in making the presentation in the name of the Club, alluded to the recent marriage of their President, and wished him every happiness in his future career. The dinner service was a slight token of the esteem in which [[Arthur Conan Doyle|Dr. Doyle]] was held by the members of the Club, not only in his capacity as President, but for his private character.
