Richard Caton Woodville Jr. (1856-1927) was a British illustrator known for his battle scenes (''Maiwand: Saving the Guns'', Afghanistan ; ''Charge of the Light Brigade'' & ''Storming of the Great Redoubt on the Alma River'', Crimea). He worked for [[The Illustrated London News]], [[The Cornhill Magazine]], [[The Strand Magazine]] and [[The Tatler]].<br />

Between 1883 and 1916, he did 19 illustrations for [[Arthur Conan Doyle]]'s works.<br />
