To the Editor of the "Daily Express."

Sir, — [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]]'s faith in the unseen would readily account for his interest in the sunken treasure to which you refer, but why not call into service those mystic powers with which he himself is so familiar in the matter of definitely locating the treasure itself? Again, why not use those wonderful "apport mediums" in association with the recovery of this treasure?

Surely if their spirit guides, as [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle|Sir Arthur]] would have us believe, can fetch tablets from ancient Assyrian tombs, fruit, flowers, reptiles, and odds and ends from distant lands, they can recover the valuables sunk in the wreck? Considering the fillip [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle|Sir Arthur]] has given the cause the "spirits" should seize the opportunity of doing something for him.
