Continuing their innings at the Saffrons, Eastbourne, yesterday, the Surrey Club representatives met with powerful batting support from Henderson, Baker, and Stedman, the first named knocking up 94 in really finished style. The innings closed for 295, and being thus 85 runs behind, the visitors had to follow on. Ultimately the match was left drawn. F. W. Bush proved the most successful of the Eastbourne bowlers, as, with the effective co-operation of Gibson, the wicket-keeper, he disposed of four batsmen at a cost of only 30 runs. Score:—<br />
